An Outdoor Celebrant-Led Wedding at Bignor Park

As a celebrant, there are some weddings that stay with you – not just for the beauty of the setting, but for the couple, their joy, and their story. Last September, I had the privilege of leading a wonderfully romantic outdoor, personalised wedding, at the stunning Bignor Park – a unique venue for celebrant-led ceremonies in West Sussex.
The setting…
On a sunny September day, I had the absolute pleasure of delivering a personal and joy-filled celebrant-led wedding at Bignor Park, one of West Sussex’s most breathtaking outdoor venues.
Set within 1,100 acres of private countryside at the foot of the South Downs, Bignor Park offers not just grandeur and tranquillity, but a little bit of quirkiness too – the perfect backdrop for a heartfelt, relaxed ceremony.
My couple chose to exchange their vows in the loggia garden, a beautifully secluded outdoor space framed by rustic brick walls and late-summer greenery. Under a charming marquee by @southdownsmarquees, guests were seated amongst incredible floral arrangements created by @brambleandbelleflorist with the floral arch in blush and ivory giving us a picture-perfect focal point.
Working closely together in the lead-up to the day to create a ceremony that was entirely theirs – full of love, laughter, and meaningful moments. Wouldn’t you love your ceremony to truly reflect who you are as a couple? That’s the beauty of a celebrant-led wedding: every word is written with the couple in mind.

Walled gardens and ivy-draped archways were perfect for quiet moments as newlyweds. Bignor Park’s charm lies not only in its beauty, but in its peaceful, exclusive feel – it’s a place that lets you celebrate in a your own way.
