About Sally
With over five years experience marrying couples in gorgeous Cornwall (that’s nearly 1,000 people and 500 weddings!), I’ve been involved with a huge variety of ceremonies and gatherings.
Same sex marriages, mixed faiths and cultures, from elopements with just two witnesses to vast marquees with hundreds of guests, the frivolous, the fabulous and the serene.

I’ve conducted ceremonies in caves, castles, cowsheds and country homes!
Being a wedding celebrant is such a special role, and gives me such joy - making your special day exceptional is my pleasure.
Originally from Haslemere, I have recently returned to my roots to be closer to family and now live on the glorious Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire border, surrounded by the Surrey Hills.

The ceremony is the reason you’ve brought family and friends together, let’s make it exceptional.
You may already know exactly what you want, or you may need some inspiration, either way I will be there from the start to craft your ceremony, helping to create memories which will last a lifetime.

I will work closely with you, listening to your vision and goals, collaborating to let your personalities shine through – it shouldn’t just be your reception that everyone remembers!

It’s such an exciting time to get married - your options are limitless. We will meet (in person or virtually), talk, drink tea, and discuss whether you’re thinking of having your ceremony in your garden, the woods, a field, on a beach, at your home, a village hall, a castle, a boat, marquee… you can choose (almost!) any location. You can share the dreams you have for your ceremony and I will get to work!

I’m imaginative, experienced, warm and friendly and will make you feel supported and confident throughout this process. I know how nerve-wracking and complicated it can seem; you’re in safe hands with me!

Sally's approach to our wedding planning made us feel very relaxed. She methodically went through all the arrangements with us at our first meeting. This included liaising and building a relationship with the wedding venue manager. Sally made us aware of all the legal requirements and supplied us with useful information, timings and ideas. She was always on hand for advice and her cheerful personality made what could have been a stressful time, become organised and relaxed.
On our wedding day, Sally filled us with confidence and calmed our nerves. She made everyone aware of the order of service and the ceremony itself was very personal and relaxed. She also circulated with family, friends and guests prior to the ceremony, ensuring that the whole day ran smoothly and most of all, very memorable.
